Talking about the film, Nawazuddin had earlier said that it is a change from the usual shaded characters he plays. “While my fans love watching me play dark characters, I enjoy being in the light. And I am sure this time too they will enjoy the laughter and banter with this oddball duo who are determined not to lose their heart for each other no matter what. It is an original and fresh subject like a gust of wind,” he had said.
Neha Sharma, who was last seen in the theatrical release Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior, also expressed her excitement for the film, saying, “Shooting for this film was a memorable experience.
